It shows the final moments in the life of this empathic individual and his "breeder", who'd raised him and cared for him most of his life. Once grown, he was sold for bullfighting. As he was in the ring, being hideously tortured for the amusement of the sick and mindless spectators, he spied his beloved and trusted "friend" in the crowd and hoping for help and relief, ran to him. Yet, the perfidious "kiss of judas" was all he received. Our suffering is not different from theirs. We are all capable of building complex emotions and strong (even interracial) relationships. The only diference is in the apperception - but then why do we allow our pets these desires, wishes and thought, while we deny them to our cattle and "lifestock"? The answer is: Carnism.
